Asa! Lucky me when I got the chance to be alone for a while at home last night. The chance given was spent on something good (?) ehe~

I did some covers. Because I did not do any homework on the songs I'm gonna cover, I made a lot of mistakes. Can't stop laughing when I pronounce "munshin cheoreom" as "munchin sheoreom" LOL 바보 me~! ^_~" This could be pass as tongue twister, no? xDD

And finally I managed to change my layout!!! It's my bias in INFINITE! Actually I have three bias in Infinite which are Sungyeol himself, Myungsoo & Gyu-leader but I like Yeollie better. He's cute. Thanks to Renee for inducing my interest to watch Sesame Player Season 2 last month

Both of us were trying to get to know these boys. So yeah, I have decided to finally change my layout, and I think, this is my first time featuring rookie group. Yeah. Wow. I'm surprised by myself! LOL~

I have been searching for nice picture of Sungyeol but thanks to my phycical and emotional defects (eh?) I am not into it much this week--- which then made me to this simplest design.

As for the layout template, I just recycle the old coding of mine.

Happy Friday to all Dorkistic friends and affies~!! :D

As far as you all might knew, I am terribly busy with my official work.

Due to that I had to work on your requests quite late (or ever overdue). For that, I am sorry for making you wait quite for a long time.

To make it up, I made this for all of you. I hope you like them.It is a 2012 calendar, featuring most of KPOP idols who had recently made comeback this year (2011) --- well, we only have 12 months but more than 12 idol groups, that's quite hard for me to pick which is the best. Plus, I don't have many pictures of any comeback groups. Seriously. I even had to miss out putting 2ne1, B2ST, Bigbang in this calendar.

Anyway, I still hope you like it.

m(_ _)m as per title, I am seeking your apologies for being so late in finishing your request.

Just like in Dorkistic newest post, yes, I am currently so busy that I felt like I'm dying soon lol so I'm going for a short break to clear up my mind this weekend.

I am currently in a very stressful condition because of so many reasons.I hope you guys can wait. If not, please DO tell me or Chazz @ Dorkistic because I don't wanna make your site to be left hanging... *eh?* I don't want to be the reason why your site couldn't be active because of the waiting.

Last and not least, congratulation to Dorkistic for winning the Best Request Site (most voted at NineCreativity's site). This makes me feel awful. Really again, I am sorry.

RANDOM: Who's the heck making December as the most suitable month for anyone to get married eh? T_T Too many weddings means too many photoshoots. Photoshoots need to be printed out and sometimes put in custom album. That's what makes us busy lol.

[BLOG] 2PM Asia Tour Concert 2011

What more can I say? I am going to see 2PM LIVE IN FRONT OF MY EYES! I am not a HOTTEST but I know their existence when Chazz showed me < 10 Out Of 10 > live performance. I vaguely remember she said that I will like the Thai Prince but he was not in the video because he went back to Thailand. And yeah, I like him but not to the extend to DHF ones. I love seeing him more when he got married to Victoria f(x) in We Got Married, but too bad, they're divorced now. Really-really too bad. KHUNTORIA FTW!

I don't think I have any bias in 2PM.

........Still thinking, yeah, I don't have one. Yet. Hehe~

Anyway, I was supposed to go to the concert with Chazzie's sister but she cancelled it due to certain reason. I was about to cancel to go when a friend from my college year asked if she could go too, and in the end, we're both going today!

And then I got another happy news that all AK Sisters (Chazz and her sibs), with addition of college dongsaeng, Haqita02, are going too because they just won Rock Pit tix! Mine's free seating, left side. The tix are very pricey. Haha.

Anyway, I am not bringing any banners or what-so-ever. I am just excited and nervous too just because I have seen the HOTTEST extreme welcoming the boys at the airport. Gosh, what a weird bunch of kids there. Extremely extreme. No manners. During Hi5 too, Chazz said. But I hope tonight, all of us gonna have LOTSA FUN! inc. the boys too.

Had to push back the time for making both layouts (had started 10% so don't worry) because my workmate, had to take two-days holidays again, for settling her wedding process wutsoeva. Yes, she burst out her holidays now and she's taking this one without salary..

I think I will resume designing in the evening. I need to rest a little bit because I slept around 3 o'clock this morning. Don't even understand why did I woke up as early as 8. Now it's already reaching 10.30 and I'm hungry. Okay, I am rambling nonsense here. Better stop now~

Before I go, to those who have received (and replied) my "friendly warning" I hope (and wish) you all the best in future (of requesting from any sites that offer free graphics). [BLOG] Takahashi Ai's Graduation Ceremony

"Finally, Takahashi Ai successfully graduated from Morning Musume (and Hello! Project). I am so thankful that I have met Twitter and Facebook because I got to get the updated news from those who went to the concert. Just like what happened with Korean Music Wave 2011 that was held here in Malaysia last week. It's a blessing for us who couldn't make it though we wanted to see it so badly. So, shouldn't I be thankful when I know I couldn't even go to Japan right now and see the concert for myself?

So today, I am so grateful to Yuda25 who got updated news from her friend who went to the concert himself (or is it herself?). This "Yoppa" is a big fan of Ai-chan (Takahashi Ai) and Yuda tweeted that he was crying hard and she was worried - besides the silence and no updates from any of those concert-goers.

News from otaku-s that there were lots of popular idols and celebrities came to watch Ai-chan's graduation and they're seated in the VVIP seats (of course).

Names like: Sanma Akashiya, Yanagihara Kanako; (former Morning Musume members) Fujimoto Miki ♥, Maki Goto, Yoshizawa Hitomi ♥, Nozomi Tsuji, Kamei Eri ♥, Ogawa Makoto ♥; few Eggs; (S/mileage members) Fukuda Kanon, Tamura (?), Maeda Yuuka ♥; Mano Erina (though she came late but it's better late than never right?); Kikkawa Yuu, Katou Noriko, Asada Miyoko, Tenryu Genichiro, Teruhide Takahashi, Matsumura Kunihiro, Satoda Mai; (Possible's members) Okada Robin Shoko, Goto Yuki; PERFUME and AKB48's Rino Sashihara.

[RANDOM] Those with ♥ are my favorite too but Ai-chan is my most favorite! ^ ^ / Bagus betul ameblo ni, gambar-gambar yang diorang post semua takde fungsi klik-kanan hmmm~ I felt relieved when they say Aika was there too. Yes, I understand that not many likes her (me too, her voice is a lil' bit annoying) but she IS a member of Morning Musume and she'd injured her ankle. Please be a little bit kinder for Ai-chan~

I think it's around 6 o'clock (Malaysia GMT), the final setlist of songs begin. Ai-chan was said to be crying so hard before that. The concert too was nicknamed "The End & The Beginning" because just yesterday, four fresh new (10th gen) members added to the group, and today the most talented capable leader graduated. It's a really huge changes.

Thank God Tsunku didn't asked if Gaki-san would want to graduate along with her best friend Ai-chan...

p/s: IDK when she wore that dress for this concert. I just randomly picked it. Kudos to LIVEDOOR for the pics.

At around 7.30 pm, after the Encore, Takahashi Ai's Graduation Ceremony took place. (Nippon) Budokan was full with yellow lightstick because it was Ai-chan's color. This is Ai-chan's messages, as interpreted roughly by fans.

Mitsui Aika who is still recovering from her ankle's injury was brought to the stage, followed by the 10th gen members before they begin sending their farewell messages.

Kudou: The memory of you giving me a ton of sweets in the dressing room during a H!P concert still remains.
Suzuki: I was lost about what I should say, so I'll talk about my favourite story. When I first joined, you immediately asked me to exchange email addresses. You were a person I saw on TV before so I was the most nervous. Later, when you change your email address, please tell me.
Sayashi: Back when I first joined, we went shopping together and you held my hand. I was super happy.
Ikuta: During the spring tour, I was worried about my dancing and you listened to my worries. Thank you for taking me to Shibuya and Shinokubo. The bulgogi was delicious.
Fukumura: When I joined, there were two instances when I thought, "This can't be true." First was the 10th gen audition and the other is Takahashi-san's graduation. When it was decided that I would join Morning Musume, Takahashi-san cried together with me. Takahashi-san's tears are my treasure.
Mitsui: I'm so glad to be able to stand on the same stage as Ai-chan after such a long time. I am truly happy to be standing here with everyone today. I really love Ai-chan's expressions!
Tanaka: We sang together, and even in H!P we were given difficult songs. As rivals, we matured together. There were times when I didn't want to see the members, and when I was rebellious and built a wall around myself. But Ai-chan just talked to me normally. Back then, I wanted to say "Thank you!"
Michishige: Thank you for being so kind to Sayu. Precisely because it was Ai-chan, that this warm, "at home" atmosphere with the fans was created. Gaki-san and the Rokkies will work hard. Please take Sayu to Shinokubo too~
Niigaki: Ai-chan, congratulations on your graduation! Ten years ago, we joined Morning Musume, and I've watched you closely since then. Ai-chan prioritizes everyone else over herself. From tomorrow on, please put yourself first, ok? Because we were together for 10 years, there are a lot of various emotions. But to me, it was a wonderful time. Thank you for all your hard work these 10 years!

After the triple encore, Takahashi appears on stage: "Even though today is a weekday, you all gathered here for me. I feel so lucky because of everyone. I think I'll be able to do my best from now on. Please continue to support Morning Musume too! I love you, everyone!"

To think that Ai-chan wished that she will not cry, she did, I guess that would be thanks to her beloved MoMusu members for crying so much during the message exchange session. Haishh~ I can't wait to watch the whole concert but I am afraid that I will cry again.

Every single Graduation Concerts that I watched (online) never failed to make me cry. Haishh~~~ yabai~!

Yesssza~ KARA won #1 in Inkigayo Mutizen besides winning few times in Music Bank K-Chart. So, to those few of you who said this song is so-so, take that! Hahaha! No, I'm not a Kamelia but I love KARA (eh?) hehe, because I am a Wonderful.

Ah, there's gonna be a mass comeback from top groups this coming month isn't it? With Brown Eyed Girls, Wondergirls, SNSD, who else? IU, SECRET, T-ara, etc. More news about it, read here: ALLKPOP. I can't wait! (=3=)/

Yesterday, Chazz and her Kpop DHF siblings went to Korean Music Wave Festival which was held in Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. So many of my friends went too, like Lyn, Syura, Saffiyah (who got lucky by winning the tix! woot2!!) etc. I didn't go due to my work. As usual. I think I'm gonna miss a lot of KPOP concerts that will be held here in Malaysia since they always hold it either Friday night or Saturday. If it was Sunday, then I might be able to go. No? ;)

Anyway, all top idols were there. I stalked Baki Zainal's and K-Popped's Twitter for live updates, and it was awesome. As if I was there! Except I am saved from all the cheering fans and not able to watch LIVE performances by them. To have FT Island here is like, WOW! There's also 4Minute, UKiss, TeenTop, GD&TOP and Seungri (Bigbang), Park Jung Min (SS501). Errr, did I missed anyone? I hope not... (=.=")Baki is so lucky isn't he?

OMAIGAWD! I forgot that he's gonna cover the news of KMW event tonight! And I missed it, as usual! Tch~

I can't say much. Currently (still) packing my bag. I'm gonna depart from my house to (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) TBS before 6 in the evening, because I wanna break fast at TBS, or is it too early? Thinking back....I guess I will have to break fast at home, and then move out to TBS at 8 o'clock. But surely not at 9. I think it's too late and traffic will surely still as slow as yesterday because there are still people who haven't gone back and need to do some shoppings. Ah, I am seriously, so nervous. It's been almost a year I haven't return home (if that what I can call it is) because I didn't went back last year. Celebrating with those people makes me sad and I don't wanna be sad on happy occasion, happy month of Syawal.

Anyway, I don't have time now. I'm going hiatus today. Haven't got to update my pending list of requests and yeah, I think I will have to blacklist few people for NOT CHECKING OUR DORKISTIC WEBSITE AND SEE THAT THEY HAVEN'T PICKED UP THEIR REQUESTS SINCE LAST TWO WEEKS NOW! TT__TT

Up until today, I haven't update my pending requests' status yet.

I was a lil' bit busy (as usual), not feeling well and too tired to bring my laptop to my workplace. I find it burdensome to bring it, and to re-open my laptop back at home to finish the job but in the end, I fell asleep in front of the monitor.

Nah, that's exaggerating. I turned off the monitor as it's blinding my already-far-sighted eyes and slept with lots of nightmares.

Anyway, I just finished the last phase or process of blog layout / coding so.....I will personally email the coding to you, soon. Maybe tomorrow: 10 August 2011. Okay? I need to rest.

[BLOG] My (New) Image-Mapped Layout!

I am so thankful to Chazzie for giving me the tips to do image-mapping. Finally, thanks to IMAGE-MAPS, I don't have to be confused and pissed off because of the non-sync coordination between my fluke layout and Paint. Gahhhh, I look older than I should because of the wrinkles they've given me! LOLLL, just kidding~

FYI, this layout is a fluke (as Gee had said) hehe. Mind your steps, it will lead you to intro page after you click on links. So, you have to click HOME again. And when you click to comment, the same thing happens. So, if it is not such a burden, I would like you to type my full URL if you wanna go back to my blog, after getting lost here. Hehe. I am so sorry. I am still learning but I have limited time to be online or do my own things...

Anyway, I have finished design layouts for *checking* loly and Asian_Innocence. I was about to start designing for the third one before I stumped at the request...by Kpop-Fanfic-Lover. So sorry, but I will do your request as per normal requesters and not as VIP requesters. So, your ~~extravagant~~ request will not be entertained~ =) Don't worry, the quality (my level) will be the same as I did for others.

I thought I could finished it by today but I was disturbed by my 1st Boss *tch~~~* and because it's been three days (in a row) I brought my lappy to work, I had to NOT bring it tomorrow until end of the working day. Trying to be considerate to my 1st Boss. In order for you not to get confused, I have three Boss-es.

Boss #1 - the one who interviewed me, and took me in. And I had to liase with him A LOT and do errands. His tasks are the most annoying because his clients sux! Want things to quickly settled, want this, want that, changes this and that. GOD I AM SO ANNOYED!

Boss #2 - He's my Boss #1's younger brother who smokes a lot, even in air-conditioned workplace like ours. He never gets up from his chair nor remove his eyes from the front PC except when I have to do my printing or other jobs, OR his friends came, or simply went to toilet. That's rarely happens though~ Haha. But it sux because I pity my workmate as she has asthma...

Boss #3 - is the brother-in-law to the brothers. He is older than both of them and funny. But when he is pissed off, he surely grumbles A LOT! But he's mad because of reasonable reasons. And I think he is understanding too, because he doesn't always gives us last-minute tasks. He asks nicely, and he talks like a very nice grandpa. Haha. I like him better than the rest. Respect him too because he prays on time, never speaks rubbish, funny and kind. I never felt annoyed when he asked me to do some editing or designing (because I am the one who always makes him a lil bit annoyed when I did MAJOR MISTAKES!) huhu~

So, that's all updates that I wanna share today. Hope everyone is having a happy day, everyday~ If you're not, and feeling low, wanna cry? Just cry~ Wanna scream? Find a good place and scream your heart out~ Wanna kill someone? Gahhhh, that one, we have to find sanity inside our own self, and let that person live, until He took them away.....sooner or later, he/she will die. And so are we~

Hmmm, since I am left alone in the house, I should probably grab this chance to cover few songs but then I am too lazy.

An old friend from my workplace asked me out because he had something important (which I don't know why - all of sudden after losing contact with him and his girlfriend) Haisy, Prasad, what if I honestly replied with "I am lazy to go out today"? *sigh*

And a MIA 'friend' got married tonight, and I don't have anyone to go with, plus don't even know where the heck is the wedding would be held. And my music teacher suddenly offered to meet him at Istana Budaya since he was going. Pfff.....now what?

So many chances today but I am too lazy to grab. Because I AM TOO LAZY TO DO ANYTHING TODAY. Huhu. I might be going tonight....if my dongsaeng would also go. It's been such a long time since I hanged out with my sensei here. It would be very awkward. Seriously.

I have been Photoshop-ing since last night. I have screen captured a lot of images. I haven't done this for quite a long time so I caught some lousy images and couldn't make a lot of nice icons out of them (besides of the existence of DESIGNERS' BLOCK!) huha~

Anyway, here's a sneak preview ! xD

As I have posted in my FB last Wednesday (or is it yesterday?) *sigh* I went to study at w3school to learn a few things because I really love to make a layout out of image-map coding just like Chazzie did for our main website. But I thought that was using i-frame or something that I simply couldn't understand. Since I learnt a few tips here and there, I think I need to learn more.... My mock layout works but the coordinates when bizzare. Haha. So, I need some rest before resume editing that layout. Haiya, so confusing still. 'Nway, Nana, hwaiting!!!

Random: There's this namja I stalked since I first work here. Earlier this month, we got to at least say one thing to another e.g: he asked "how much is this?" and I answered the amount, and then he joked, lame one but still. Hahaha, since it's him, I don't mind. But since my friend, a guy, came to meet me the other day, he didn't come here as much as before. Huhuhu~ Anyway, I still couldn't get a better picture of him. He's so.....haisyy~~ I love to stalk him because it gives me the motivation and mood to go to work. Hehe.

AGE: Hmm. I don't mind if he's younger or older or of same age as me, but the gap of age must not be more than 10 years. For example, I'm born in year '83 so he should not be in '93 or '73. Too much gap makes me insecure, uncomfortable and seriously, I'll not be focusing enough about his love to me but more to his age. The best of age that I can accept (if it's not of same age) is one year younger OR one or two years older than me.

I don't like him discussing it with others, unless it's done professionally - doctors and such. But if he really needs to discuss it with others, I need to be there too so that we can really talk it out. If we don't discuss things like this, how are we gonna face or handle the marriage?

Hey Hey Hey ! I'm back ! You might think that I'm less busy than before but oh well, sorry to say that I am busi-er than ever. So, if you wanna request, please read which graphics I am available to do [ HERE ], and which are not. Please, please, please, do not request things that I do not offer. I am so sorry but it will take years to finish them. Seriously. So from now on, I only can accept Blogger layout OR Wallpapers OR Icon/Siggy/Link Button NON-ANIMATED, provided that you give me images (NO HOTLINKING, READ OUR RULES [ HERE ]) and not in small sizes. You'd be cursed not only by me, but also others (who have the same 'job' as I am -- graphic designer).

And I will send your request ONLY through email so give me the active one, no fake, no inactive etc. And I can only design once or twice in two weeks because of the (working) shifts.

People might wonder, why is Nana still wanna open for requests when she's busy? Well, I love Dorkistic and the crews. We are busy. Esp. teenagers-turn-to-adults huhu. We have so much responsibilities to do but this place where sometimes we can feel more relaxed after so much things happened in the real life.... Yeah, you can call it "escapism" haha. But it is also our passion to design for you guys. So, no matters how busy we are, we still wanna help some people out there. And maybe in future, when they're ready (to design and code for themselves and others), they'll help others. And it will goes on. That's we called humanity.

But some people are just being selfish and annoying. Steal our codes. Steal our designs. Remove the credits. Removing or editing the codings. We're angry and sad. Of course, we will declare war unless that person took the right initiative.

Anyway, I will only accept requests that comes from DORKISTIC's request (main page), not here. Maybe I'll open it soon, when I quit my job, which is like, IN YOUR DREAM!!! HAHAHA. Just kidding ;P I hope I'll stay working in this place for a long time. At least more than a year.

To our beloved DD's magnae, Pynkfaery, I wish you a very good luck in future and graduate in a very happy surrounding, and to lead less rough road in the future. Amin~ You will meet some people, that you may dislike, or like, and to work with them, and to show your skills. Some might not see it, a few people do. Some will not like us, but as long as you stick to your own principles (which I know, many good ones) and love yourself. Don't worry if they don't like you. What matter most is that you don't hate yourself....and remember those people who DO care about you.

This is from my own experiences. Easier said than done. But we have to be strong right? If not, just cry it out. It's not a sin to cry :)

I will go on major hiatus this May, 2011. Yes, MAJOR! Because I will be sending my laptop here to the computer shop to get my CD-ROM player to re-function, and to format it.

FORMAT = ZERO = NEW = > I have to see what's the after-effects and re-install my beloved ever Photoshop *sigh* and make sure my external worked by the time I need it. I have put 80 % of my files in it. I might be back early, but knowing me and my over-obsessed over my laptop and things inside it, I might be back a lil bit late.

And within my hiatus period, I will check my email and tagboard, ONLY. If you wanna chat etc. like actively, I might open my Facebook, from workplace. Oh, but I doubt that too. Early in May until later, I will be extra busy due to work. My boss got a new project, and I knew we would be very busy.....because it's for convocation. Ngee~ This will be my first MAJOR project too, because it involves A LOT OF CUSTOMERS and EDITING! And I might be more hot-tempered and tense at that time. Hello to all! Hmm, been wondering where we had had been this month? Well, so sad to say that we are really busy. As I mentioned before (at Dorkistic website), Chazzie is busy preparing for her final exam and then her practicum, right? Well, it's only a few days after her exams, she had to start her practicum - which makes her busy-er. I hope, we hope, everyone wishes her best. As for pending requests, she did her best to finish it, really. And now, since Imagehost has completely closed, forever, we need to find another better hosting site for the images and such...

Magnae (Pynkfaery) is also the same. She's in her final semester (final year) now. I wish her luck and got to graduate from our beloved university with flying colors hehe ;D

As for me, Nana, I am busy too but still got (few) times to check here and there. Counting back the times I last watched TV was like......a month now? I don't even know any news of Kpop or Jpop or even our own local artists haha. Gomen~ I am working eight hours per day, six days per week, and I got really tired and sleepy at night so the easiest - fastest - compatible website to open (and also to load *sigh*) is Facebook. Even Blogger, Twitter, or DeviantArt loads slower than before! *sigh* It makes me more tired...

Anyway, we have just announced the winner of Project Dork Round #1, which is Renee Hiew !! Yay !! I'll update Dorkistic website with her awesome artwork later. Now, I need to go to sleep because tomorrow is Monday, and of course, everything begins on Monday. Got to work ;)

1. Create a NEW POST
2. Click POST OPTION and change the date to some times OLDER
3. SAVE IT
4. Click DASHBOARD and click EDIT POST
5. Find the post that you created just now and click VIEW
6. A pop-up window will appear. copy the URL and use it as your PAGES.
7. Create more new posts to add more pages.

1. click on your name
2. a new page will appear
3. click DOWNLOAD FILE (.txt)
4. open the NOTEPAD file
5. Copy the CODE and PASTE it at HTML area

HOW TO USE THE LAYOUT {FOR NEW BLOGGER}
1. Log in your Blogger
2. Click LAYOUT > EDIT HTML
3. Click REVERT TO CLASSIC TEMPLATE
4. Paste the code that you downloaded
*u'll lost all your widgets. make sure to save the widgets first*

HOW TO KEEP YOUR OLD CONTENT AT THE SIDEBAR {OLD BLOGGER}
1. Open EDIT HTML
2. Copy and SAVE the old HTML to NOTEPAD
3. PASTE the new code
4. MOVE your sidebar content (i.e affy list, link list, etc) by COPY & PASTE
5. BE CAREFUL TO NOT DELETE ANY TAG because it might corrupt the layout. It is best to move your content one by one.

[BLOG] A Week Holiday

Taking a week holiday, hopefully I can get back to you ASAP.

Currently I am in Penang, Malaysia. Past few days were very hectic, busy and tiring. Sometimes it gives me bad mood, sometimes it was fun. Wedding function went okay, so far(^^)v

These are few pics, one from the wedding function, and one is from the funfair, hehe~ Can you spot me in the wedding pic? (^^)

And then, we went to Pesta, it's like a....funfair (^^) I am seriously afraid of Roller Coaster but seeing (first impression is always a fake one) how harmless it look, no going up and down, not like the real one like in other theme park, so I went. And didn't I regret hopping into that crazy coaster! It doesn't go up and down, right, but it went BERSERK to the left and right like ngeee~~~~~ (0.o)

Yesterday, we went to Bukit Merah Waterpark. First reason, was because we have been waiting to play in the swimming pool before but because it was uhmm...unattended and could bring fatal disease to us, we postponed to later date. Second, because Penang (some areas) don't have water supply for the day. So, we decided to go from morn to evening just to 'have our bath' hehe~

Anyway, I can't online much because it doesn't look nice if we stayed in the room and online 24/7 and did not talk or do anything in the house, right? So, hope you can wait a lil longer and I'll be back to Kuala Lumpur either this Friday or Saturday. I want to go back early though~ (^^) Nway, see you soon!

I felt a lil bit burdened but at the same time, HAPPY because of the visitors. Top visitors are from Malaysia, followed by United States and Philippines, and then Singapore (our neighbor) and Netherlands. Thank you so much for dropping by. Makes me want to contribute more than before, hopefully I can...! :D

I have one important announcement to make. Sorry for the long delay of your requests especially for blog layout / blog coding. I have encountered major coding issue, which related to Blogger new system of auto-pagination. Before this, it was okay. But now, some codings became incompatible with Blogger (cannot be viewed, etc.).

Auto-pagination have been implemented months ago but I was busy to revamp the codings. So I hope you can give me time to solve this and get back to you. I am still new with codings so it might took a long time. If you're in rush (maybe to celebrate your site's anniversary with new layouts or related), I will put some recommended sites here for you.

~~Right now, I can't think of one because my mind is so messy because I lost my phone.~~ Found it! So sorry for the inconvenience TT.TT

Happy Sunday people ! How's your weekend ? It seems that many not had a great weekend (as I've read some comments from Facebook wall. Well, me too. I don't know. I just feeling so down. Thanks for all wishes Chazzie, Pynkfaery magnae, Phebs, Jusce and others.

Today, I just wanna announce that we offer a new custom graphic which is Twitter background. It's still new in Dorkistic store, and for now, I'm in charge of making them.

Still got some amendments for the size esp. those who have different resolution (cause I'm using 1024x800, if I'm not mistaken). So there's always problem for others to view it. And also for FireFox user cause I don't use one. I'm using Internet Explorer for now. Can't afford to put too many things inside my lappy now. It's getting old like the owner haha. Got to go now. I've updated pending list for cherry.pineapple and WonderBinnie. Others will follow suit, hopefully by next week.

Oh, BTW, I'm gonna watch Harry Potter this Wednesday. Too bad Chazz couldn't join in cause she's gonna return home this coming holiday.. It's been a while since we met huhuhu. We'll sure have some gath before end of your semester Chazz ! Unnie will make sure of that !

I love the new look, well almost every NEW looks for Dorkistic Design made by Chazz *proud unnie* hehe~ Anyway, for those who's waiting for the other Suju's layouts might have to wait longer this time. As you all know, my coding (my third coding) could only be viewed using Internet Explorer [ONLY!]. So, I am not in the mood to 'be kind' to my own coding. I abandoned my third 'child' huhuhu~ I'll resume making the layouts when I'm okay with it.

Oh, I just got news that someone STOLE my coding and use it as theirs. What could be worse....? *sigh* and also some sites who stole / using Chazzie's coding without permission. Darn it....! *gonna sue them!*

[BLOG] Having Blogger's Auto-Pagination Problem?

I didn't know about it until I seek help from Blogger Help. It really helps me. Gosh, I don't know how long this auto thingy had been 'implanted' but I really got a shock there when I 'lost' most of my posts...

I thought it was because of my codings or something else but I really did not expect Blogger to make this kinda changes. Oh well, I used to try this kinda method but was too stupid to understand what the heck they were talking about. Putting this code here and there. And now, I seem to understand a bit of some codes, it becomes less difficult to understand.

Thanks to these HELPs...I love y'all for making such a great effort to help other ignorant Bloggers like me (^_~;)v

[SITE] Dorkistic Designs: Three Years of Hard Work Pays Off

We are honoured and thrilled to present to you our first recommended site: Dorkistic Designs. This site has become a legend within our community; with a total of three years under their belt, as well as outstanding services and support for many of their affiliate sites, it is an extremely popular site that many people frequent day to day.

Dorkistic Designs was created on May 16th, 2006 by Chazzie. It first started providing free MySpace graphics, featuring various artists such as McFly, Busted and Son Of Dork; however during 2008, the site debuted with a new area, providing a larger range of graphic requests as well as web management and freebies. Within the years, it has gained various awards for remarkable achievements. For example: it were nominated and voted as the Top Requesting Site at Feisty Princess. Also in July 2009, they won Lost Shadows' Site of the Month award.

Dorkistic Designs is truly an incredible site, so in order to get more background information, we’ve interviewed the webmistress: Chazzie.

Q: Why did you decide to create Dorkistic Designs?
Dorkistic Design was unofficially born in 2005 as one of the section under McFly Malaysia's fansite. It mostly provided MySpace layouts and contact tables featuring my favourite British band, McFly and Son of Dork. At that time, it was hard to find sites with graphics featuring them, so I decided to open one to share my graphics with fellow fans. It officially opened in 2006 when I started taking requests for contact tables and MySpace layouts.

Q: When did the staff start to design and code for layouts?
I started designing in 2004, using MSPaint, and then changed to GIMP and finally Photoshop in 2008. However, I started coding around 2002, when my father gave me a computer. I created class websites and personal blogs; that was when I started discovering the HTML language.

Nana started around the same year too, during her study in matriculation where she started learning to create her own b-sets after feeling jealous of other people's pretty b-sets in a forum she joined. She discovered HTML when she bought a new laptop, though without Photoshop software, and decided to learn website-making instead.

Pynkfaery learned Photoshop in her first year at university, and she's among the earliest requesters at Dorkistic Design too. She is yet to do layout coding, since she's too busy with her university life, but I'm sure she'll get her hands on it soon.

Q: How did the staff learn to design and code?
We learned (and continue to learn) from various tutorial sites and sources, such as LiveJournal, Lissa Explains it All, DeviantArt, reading local computing magazines, and through self-discovery.

Q: What motivated you to provide layouts as a service at Dorkistic Design?
I understand the feeling of wanting to have a layout your way, but don't know how to do it, and can't find it anywhere on the Net. I felt the same way too when I first created my website, because I have to search for hours before I can find a layout that suits my likings. That's when I decided to help those who are in need of their own website that totally describe their personality and site objective. In one click, they can request for a customized layout that is one of a kind, meaning no one else has the same layout design as theirs.

Dorkistic also has this working policy, whereby we try very hard to design the layout so that it will represent you. When a visitor visits your site, by looking at the layout they will say: “That’s so you,” “The layout really suits you,” etc. First, we visit the requester's site to know a little bit about them. For example, if the requester is neat, with a very organized content and carefully-written blog, the layout style will be simple, neat and less decorations. We don't simply read the form and design away. We do a little study first before we start designing them.

Q: Have you ever encountered any problems with Dorkistic Design? If so, how did you manage to solve the problems?
There are three major problems that we always face these days: code stealers, hotlinkers, and rule-breakers.

We always try to handle these problems professionally. We will email them and contact the person without letting the public know about it. We have to take their pride into consideration. However, if the person ignores our email, that's when we will handle it through their CBOX and will monitor the site for few months to make sure they won't do it again.

Dorkistic does not have a BLACKLIST page. However, we do have the list that we personally keep. We don't show it to public to protect their privacy, but should the same person break the same rule at other sites, we will inform the site owner about that too.

Q: What are your thoughts about Dorkistic Design?
Personally, I see Dorkistic Design as my baby. If ever people ask me, ‘”What’s the proudest moment in your life?” that would be having Dorkistic Design for four years!

It makes me laugh, it gives me a headache, and it makes me cry. 90% of my online life revolves around DD. I learn how to handle people, I learn how to communicate with people, and I met many new friends which I cannot do in real life [because of my introvert side]. DD makes me feel grown up too and I'm proud to be called “umma” (Korean for “mother”) by many of the visitors.

However, I also believe that DD has a very long way to go. We're just an amateur site, who shares our passion towards designing and “fan-girling.” Also, we need to work hard in order to be on the same level as other professional designing websites, and of course, to meet requesters and visitors' demand and likings.

Q: Do you have any advice you’d like to share with the public?
As one of the older sites in the community, we're proud to see so many new sites emerge, especially during summer. However, we're frustrated to see as many sites close in less than 2-3 months [from when they start].

We hope that those who have websites, or those who plan to open a website, will plan carefully and think deeply before they officially open the site. Opening a website is not a game. It needs your patience and hard work too. We hope that there will be more sites celebrating their first anniversary this year, and I hope you guys will keep on supporting Dorkistic Design by promoting us to your friends, or by simply visiting our site and saying hello. We're always excited to receive even just a simple hello on the CBOX.

Q: Any future projects we can expect soon?
Since last year, we've organized and collaborated a few projects, namely Shim Changmin B-day Bash, 100 Icons Challenge, Jay Tribute Project, Feisty's Popularity Contest, U-Kiss Fan Messages, Facebook’s Artwork Challenge, Facebook’s Wall-Contest Giveaways, and others.

We plan to have more activities soon to create a closer bond with our affliates, visitors and friends. Among the upcoming projects are DD's Gathering, Christmas Giveaway, fan meeting projects and many more. We hope that our visitors will keep visiting us and join our future projects too.
